Edwin P. Reese, aged 73 years, veteran newspaper man and once a resident of Vermont died at his home in Chicago Nov. 27 as the result of injuries received when he was struck by an automobile last August 14. Mr. Reese was well known in Vermont when he worked there about thirty years ago on a newspaper known as the Vermont Eye. He was a recent graduate of Knox college and about twenty-five years of age when he came to Vermont. He was later employed on a Champaign paper and was the founder of the Lewistown Daily Record. His last position was that of associate editor of the Federation News, published by the American Federation of Labor. He was buried in Vermont cemetery.
