Bushnell Merchant Killed In Automobile Crash

W. O. Rose, 38, Bushnell, dry goods merchant, was killed and A. S. Clark, 25, cashier of the Bank of Bushnell probably fatally hurt Saturday when their automobile ran into a telephone pole at Trivoli.

Clark, who was at the wheel, was believed to have fallen asleep. He was taken to a physician’s office so badly hurt that he could not be moved to a hospital.

IPAVA — Frank Rose of Ipava learned Saturday of the death of his cousin, William O. Rose of Bushnell, aged 37, who was driving from Peoria to Bushnell and evidently fell asleep at the wheel at 2 a.m. The accident occurred near Trivoli. The machine crashed into a telephone pole, instantly killing Rose and seriously injuring his companion, Albert C. Clarke, aged 24, assistant cashier of the Bushnell bank.
