John (Jack) Ryan, of Mt. Sterling, well known in Schuyler county, died suddenly at the home of his brother Ed Ryan in that city Monday morning of last week, his lifeless body being found by Mrs. Ryan when she went to his room to call him. Mr. Ryan had been ailing for considerable time and had been under a doctor’s care and it is thought that a sudden heart attack was the cause of his death. He had arisen from his bed and partly dressed when death overtook him.
