SARAH ANN (RENO) ROBERTSON

Aged Resident Dies

Mrs. Sarah Ann Robertson died on Wednesday of last week at the home of her son, Daniel Robertson near Browning aged 82 years, 4 months and 7 days.

The deceased was born near Browning, Dec. 28, 1838. She was united in marriage to Alexander Robertson in 1856 and to them were born nine children, seven of whom survive: they are Mrs. Amanda Schisler of Avon, Mrs. Mary Rice of Greensburg, Mo., Mrs. Rebecca Zimmerman of Forrest City, Rev. Stephen Robertson, Reedley, Calif., Mrs. Susan Stambaugh and Daniel Robertson of Browning, Mrs. Louisa Parker of Pleasantview.

Her husband preceded her to the great beyond, May 19, 1910. She united with the Methodist church when a girl and later transferring her membership to the Union Baptist of which denomination she remained a faithful member until death.

Funeral services were held at the Ridgeville church Monday, conducted by Rev. George McKee of Littleton. Interment in the cemetery near by.

RIDGEVILLE — Again the death Angel has visited our neighborhood claiming as its victim, Mrs. Sarah Robertson, taken very suddenly Monday night, died Wednesday morning, funeral was not held until Monday at 2 o’clock p.m., on account of her son, Steven, who lives in California, not arriving until Sunday noon. All of her children were here during the week end, some having to return before the funeral was held.
