VERMONT — Died, at her home in this place Friday, Feb. 23rd, Mrs. J. B. Royal, wife of Elder Royal, aged about seventy years. She had been in poor health for the past two years. She was widely known and universally respected. Mr. and Mrs. Royal have been residents of Vermont for many years. She always took a lively interest in the churches and good. Our citizens were greatly attached to her as she was always kind and considerate in her intercourse with neighbors. Her aged companion has the great sympathy of many friends in this and adjoining counties. The funeral occurred from the Christian church the following Sunday afternoon.
