WILLIAM RENNER

William Renner

Wm. Renner was born near Freeport, Harrison county, Ohio, Feb. 22nd, 1821, and died at his home in Fulton Co., Illinois, Aug. 15, 1893. In 1842 he came to Illinois and since 1848 has lived on the home place where he died. He was united in marriage with Rebecca Covington June 22, 1855. To this union were born eight children, two of which died in infancy, and one son and five daughters are left to care for their mother who still survives. He was converted when twenty years of age and proved himself to be a useful member serving his church in an official capacity for years, and was a class leader at the time of his death. He was interred in the Salem cemetery.
