Mrs. Elizabeth Lupton Quinby died in Pittsfield Wednesday night last. She was 97 years of age, and was one of the oldest residents of Pike County and one of its first settlers. She was born in Charleston, Mass., near the site of Bunker Hill monument, and her father once owned the land on which that shaft now stands. Mrs. Quinby came to Pike county in 1833, and had resided in Pittsfield since that time.
