Jeff Pellinghelli, 54, of Frederick died at 10:45 p.m. Dec. 19, 2018, at his residence. He was born Aug. 26, 1964, a son of Giuseppe Lorenzo and Florence Mose Pellinghelli. Also surviving are his mother and stepfather, Glen Fox; stepmother, Marty Pellinghelli; three sons, Zach Henson of Jacksonville, Caleb Pellinghelli of Beardstown and Daniel Pellinghelli of Frederick; three brothers, Joe Pellinghelli of Kincaid and John Pellinghelli and Jim Pellinghelli, both of Texas; two sisters, Maryanna Pellinghelli and Tiffany Brooks, both of Tovey; one stepsister, Pam Bitel of Pawnee; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He graduated from Kincaid High School in 1982. He was a USDA meat inspector for over 12 years at Oscar Mayer and later Excel Meat Solutions. In 1997, he started J and J Contracting.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with services to follow with Pastor Jerry Bunch officiating.
