She was born Nov. 12, 1932, in Fall Creek Township, Adams County, a daughter of Fred and Dora Keil Baker. She married Ralph Phillips on Jan. 26, 1952, in Fall Creek Township, Adams County. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Kathy (and Ed) Walck of Spring Grove; one brother, Lester Baker of Quincy; one sister, Gladys Walz of Arkansas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Fauver; one son, Robert Eugene Phillips; two brothers, Donald Baker and Ralph Baker; and three sisters, Margaret Baker, Velma Kuntemeier and Charlotte Nesbitt.
She was a homemaker and worked side by side with her husband on the family farm. She was a member of the former Huntsville United Methodist Church.
Private graveside services will be held at the Huntsville Cemetery, near Huntsville. The Wood Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
