She was born Dec. 5, 1941, in Chicago, the daughter of Francis and Marilyn Buell Staley. She married Stuart A. Anderson. She later married Ted Perez. They divorced.
Surviving are one son, Michael D. (and Melsie) Anderson of Galesburg; one niece; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by one brother, James B. Staley; and one stepdaughter, Rebecca Ann Cavazos.
She was a graduate of Canton Senior High School, Class of 1960. She continued her education at Culver-Stockton College and Canton Community College.
She was a homemaker.
A celebration of life was held Saturday at St. Francis Woods Chapel in Peoria with Rev. Dr. L. Arvil Bass Jr. officiating. Graveside services were held at Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
