She was born Oct. 23, 1956, in Chicago, a daughter of Lloyd and Evelyn Leiby Carlson. She married Michael M. Paisley on April 11, 1987, in Las Vegas, Nev. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Nettie and Kelsy, both of Rushville; one brother, Jim (and Marian) Carlson of Columbus, Ga.; and three sisters, Janice Carlson of Dallas, Texas, Maureen (and Kenny) Wehrle of Frisco, Texas, and Donna (and Bob) Bishop of Cicero.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dan, Don and Lloyd Carlson.
She graduated from Western Illinois University in Macomb with a bachelors degree in political science.
She worked as the office secretary at Rushville High School for several years before her marriage.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Steve Akins officiating. Inurnment will follow in Palm Cemetery southwest of Rushville. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
