Frank Piotrowski Jr.

Frank Edward Piotrowski Jr., 47, of Tamaroa, died at 9:09 p.m. July 16, 2008, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

He was born June 9, 1961, a son of Frank Sr. and Geraldine Piotrowski. He married Donna Przygoda on Nov. 5, 1983. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Geraldine Malott and stepfather, Harold Malott of Astoria; two sons, Tim and Joe of Tamaroa; one daughter, Krista Jane of Tamaroa; one brother, Stephen Piotrowski of Tamaroa; two sisters, Julia (and Raymond) Bathon of Pinckneyville and Debbie (and Steve) Kellerman of Tamaroa; two stepsisters, Teresa (and Scott) Burget and Beverly (and Gary) Taylor, both of Rushville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank E. Piotrowski Sr.

He farmed all his life and was a mechanic at Joy Technology in Mount Vernon.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa in the choir and as a lector; the Perry County 4-H Federation where he had been a leader for 13 years; Perry County Extension Council; Perry County Farm Bureau; Knights of Columbus Council; and an International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local #483.

Services were held Saturday at his church with burial in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Tamaroa. Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa was in charge of arrangements.
