She was born July 26, 1925, in Littleton, a daughter of Elmer and Hazel Bowen Street. She married Don Prather Feb. 14, 1964, in Rushville. He died Dec. 2, 2005.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, John Stanley Street; and one sister, Florence Ford.
Surviving are two nieces, Margaret Jackson and Cathi Phillips; one nephew, Ronald Ford; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Rushville.
She worked for Alexander Lumber Co. for many years, last serving as office manager at the Normal yard, retiring in 1964.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Rushville City Cemetery with David Haney officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville.
