Robert PaceRobert H. Pace, 69, of Canton died at 2:35 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born April 26, 1935, in Liverpool, a son of Frank A. and Hester M. Wilson Pace. He married Carol Bucy.

Surviving are his fiancee, Roslyn Wooddell; one son, Mark (and Amanda) of Vermont; three brothers, Bill (and Rosie) of St. David, and Frank and Jim (and Sib), both of Liverpool; and three grandchildren.

He worked for Navistar in Indianapolis for 30 years, retiring as an assembler.

A Korean War Air Force veteran, he was a member of Havana Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was a member of Chandlerville Masonic Lodge 724, AF&AM.

Cremation was accorded. Graveside services wil be held Wednesday, March 2, at 1 p.m. at Liverpool Cemetery, where Masonic services and military rites were accorded. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Spoon River Hospice at Graham Hospital.
