MILDRED A. (OWENS) PARKINSON

Mildred Parkinson

Mildred A. Parkinson, 92, formerly of Lewistown, died at 10:40 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at the Havana Health Care Center in Havana, where she was a resident.

She was born Aug. 7, 1911, in Macomb, a daughter of George W. and Ethel Mae (Hagaman) Owens. She married Jesse W. Parkinson on Nov. 7, 1934, in Lewistown. He died March 23, 1972.

She also was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and one infant grandchild.

Surviving are two sons, Donald (Judy) Parkinson, and Charles O. Parkinson, both of Lewistown; three daughters, Dorene (Vernon) McCausland of rural Havana, Doris (George) Hughes of Astoria, and Hilda Driskell of Bardstown, Ky; two brothers, James L. (Ila) Owens of Canton, and Richard L. Owens of Bardstown, Ky.; one sister, LaVeta Williams of Yates City; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild.

She was a homemaker.

Cremation will be accorded. There will be no visitation or memorial service. Burial of ashes will be at a later date. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Havana Health Care Center.
