Alice Seabert Pittman, 82, of McLean, Va., formerly of Round Grove Township, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, at her home.
She was born Jan. 4, 1920, in Round Grove Township, a daughter of George E. and Barbara Young Seabert. She married Howard T. Pittman. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Surviving are one brother, Leonard Seabert of Dwight; and one sister, Mary Perry of Normal.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Baughman Cemetery in Smithfield with her sister-in-law Rev. Marianne Rhoades officiating. A memorial service will follow at 11:45 a.m. at the Astoria Church of the Brethren. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
