Catharine E. Peterman, 67, of Astoria died at 9:14 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2002, at her home.
She was born Aug. 13, 1934, in Rushville, a daughter of Charles and Frances Carroll Bollinger. She married Elmer Clinton Peterman on Feb. 28, 1953, in Carthage. He died May 17, 1988.
She also was preceded in death by one son, John Oliver Peterman.
Surviving are three sons, Rev. Ben (and Becky) of Newton, Miss., George (and Kathryn) and Jim (and Raeanna), both of Astoria; one daughter, Cathie Summars of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Violet Self of Littleton.
She was a member of Astoria Christian Church.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
