John J. Pratt, 63, of Havana, died at 12:05 p.m. Monday, March 6, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born Dec. 1, 1931 in Saidora, a son of John C. and Dora Towery Pratt. He married Wilma D. Dobson on Sept. 8, 1951 in Easton. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother of Kilbourne; three sons, Harold Pratt and Joshua Pratt, both of Havana, and Jerry Pratt of Lewistown; five daughters, Brenda Eddlemoon and Amanda Pratt of Havana, Cheryl Leeds of Canton, Sharon Miller of Lewistown, and Tina Busby of Vermont; six brothers, Charles Pratt of Kilbourne, James Pratt of Petersburg, Ronald Pratt and Stanley Pratt of Havana, and Daniel Pratt and Larry Pratt of Bath; five sisters, Ethel Perez of Moline, Wanda Cline of Bath, Edith Nolting of Springfield, Julie Griffin of Kilbourne, and Murtis McClure of Rapid City; 25 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and four grandchildren.

He was disabled since 1974, and last worked at the former Atwood Plant in Havana. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1952.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery with Rev. Charles Loomis officiating. Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Henry Memorial Home.
