Mrs. Mary E. Parr, 89, of Astoria, died Friday, Nov. 23, 1979, at 2:30 p.m. at the Mason District Hospital in Havana.
She was born Jan. 9, 1890, in Astoria, the daughter of John and Elzaida Ralston Arnold. She married Harvey Parr Feb. 6, 1909. He died Aug. 4, 1973.
Surviving are one son, Vincent of Santa Anna, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Veneda Essex, Santa Anna, Mrs. Verle Frame of Canton and Mrs. Velma Scott of Indianapolis, Ind.; three grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
Two children, nine brothers and sisters died previously.
Graveside services were held at the Astoria Cemetery on Monday, conducted by Shawgo Memorial Home.
