Mrs. Charles Parr Dies At Her Home Here Sunday

Mrs. Inez Parr, wife of Charles Parr, died at her home here Sunday afternoon, following a long illness. She was an invalid for around four years. She was aged 77 years, 6 months and 13 days.

Mrs. Parr was born July 15, 1872 in Pleasant township, a daughter of William and Nancy (Hillyer) Brown. She is survived by her husband, Charles Parr, and a son, Roy Parr, of Astoria; three grandchildren; a brother, Fred Brown of Bardolph, and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Morris of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Chloe Ebbert of Adair.

Mrs. Parr was a member of the Methodish church.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. H. D. Simmons. Burial was in the Astoria Memorial Mausoleum.
