Loring Price Dies Thursday In Jacksonville

Loring Price died in the State hospital at Jacksonville Thursday morning. The body was brought to Astoria in Horton’s ambulance, for burial.

Mr. Price was born in Astoria, Jan. 18, 1876, a son of Thomas W. and Susan Olive (Hudnell) Price.

Before entering the State hospital he made his home in Astoria, where he had many ardent friends, who admired him for his friendly, sociable disposition.

Survivors include a son, W. S. Price of Topeka, Kan., and three brothers, Walter S. Price of Astoria, W. T. Price of Los Angeles, Calif., and Elmer T. Price of Burlingame, Kansas.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Cline Horton home, conducted by Rev. Clarence Helsley. Burial was made in the family lot in the Astoria cemetery.
