Rodney Lee, son of Cletis and Gladys Nigh Palmer, was born in Astoria on June 18, 1939. He departed this life in a hospital in Chicago, on Thursday, at the age of two years, one month and 13 days, following a long illness.
He leaves to mourn his departure two sisters: Norma Jean and Judith Ann, and one brother, Bernard Wayne, his parents, and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Palmer.
Funeral services were held at the Horton Funeral Home Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. C. A. Bennett. Interment in Astoria cemetery.
