Dr. A. E. Prince Is Taken By Death At Springfield

Dr. Arthur Prince, 76, widely known as an eye, ear, nose and throat specialist, died suddenly at his home in Springfield, Tuesday from a complication of diseases.

Dr. Arthur Prince had been in failing health for a number of months. He retired in July from active operation of the Prince Sanitarium in Springfield.

Dr. Arthur Prince was one of the first medical students in this part of the country who specialized in eye, ear, nost and throat diseases. Entering this field of practice, he met with success. His name has stood high in professional ranks for many years.

For a number of years he was engaged in practice in the sanitarium conducted at Jacksonville by his father. Following the death of Dr. David Prince, the Jacksonville institution was sold.

He is survived by his wife and three children. He has a sister, residing in Duluth, Minn.
