“Q” Conductor Killed

P. A. Peters, 48, veteran C. B. & Q. conductor of Beardstown, was killed Tuesday when he stepped off the engine of his train at East Alton. He was caught beneath the outside truck of the engine and fell to the ground, breaking his neck. He died instantly.
