Death of Wilbur Pickle

IPAVA — Wilbur Pickle passed away at his home in Macomb Saturday, January 11, aged 48 years, following a three weeks illness of pneumonia and complications. Mr. Pickle had not been well for some time and was facing a major operation when pneumonia developed. The direct cause of his sudden death however, was a heart attack which came after he was well on the road to recovery. He is survived by his wife who was Miss Sophia Baumgartner. There are no children. Deceased grew to young manhood in this vicinity. Frank Lew and James Pickle of Ipava are brothers, Earl Pickle of Galesburg is also a brother. Two sisters are deceased. Mr. Pickle was a faithful member of the Nazarene church from which place the funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon.
