LEWISTOWN — Mrs. Mary Proctor Phelps, aged 89 years, 7 months and 8 days, died at her home here on Wednesday morning of last week after only a few days' of illness. She was born in Rawley, Mass. She was the widow of the late Myron Phelps, to whom she was married in 1855. The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church on Friday, Rev. A. McGaughey, of this city, and Rev. B. Y. George, of Elmwood, officiating. Deceased was one of Lewistown's most highly respected pioneers.

LEWISTOWN — The late Mrs. Mary Phelps left a will in which she divides her property as follows: To Mary P. Proctor, of Neenah, Wisconsin, one share; Stephen Phelps, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, one share; George Phelps, New Albany, Ind., one share; Harriet P. Proctor, of Lewistown, one share; Eliza P. Foote, of Lewistown, one share; Aurelia Phelps, of Lewistown, two shares. The will also provides that Henry Phelps, of Waukesha, Wis., and Miss Aurelia Phelps, of Lewistown, children of Myron Phelps, by his first wife, have the use and enjoyment of the premises in this city occupied by the testator during her life time as long as they so desire. To Charles P. Dewey, of Toulon, and to Harvey P. Dewey, of Concord, New Hampshire, sons of Cornelia Dewey and grandsons of Myron Phelps, is left a legacy of fifty dollars each, and to Henry Phelps, of Waukesha, one hundred dollars in addition to his other share in the estate as above stated.
