James L. Orr, 64, of Mount Sterling, formerly of Rushville, died at 9:15 a.m. Nov. 12, 2021, at his residence.James L. Orr, 64, of Mount Sterling, formerly of Rushville, died at 9:15 a.m. Nov. 12, 2021, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 5, 1956, in Rushville, a son of Tommie and Twila M. Thomas Orr.
Surviving are three daughters, Amanda (and Braden) Lee of Eureka, Kan., and Sarah (and Seth) Taylor and Alana Orr, both of Mount Sterling; one son, Shawn Orr of Rushville; two brothers, Phillip (and Mary) Orr and Dennis (and Julie) Orr, both of Rushville; one sister, Rita (and Kenny) Gray of Rushville; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ann Wade and Norma Atwater.
He was employed at Bohn Aluminum for many years and worked at the F.S. Tire Shop until retirement.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville City Cemetery.
