Frances "Bonnie" OgdenFrances “Bonnie” Busby Ogden, 85, of Beardstown, formerly of Schuyler County, died at 10:35 a.m. May 21, 2019, at her home.

She was born March 30, 1934, in Bland, Mo., a daughter of Walter and Mary Frances Crider Fitzgerald. She first married Clarence Lee Busby Sr. on March 31, 1951, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1971. She later married John Ogden on Feb. 15, 1998, in Chandlerville. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 2008.

She also was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Elsie Long; one grandson, Willie Collins; two brothers, Everett Fitzgerald and Raymond Fitzgerald; and three sisters, Jewel Breeden, Mae Granneman and Ruby Bosaller.

Surviving are three children, Brenda (and Calvin) Bollin of Nauvoo, Rhonda (and Milton) Garrett of Rolla, Mo., and Clarence Lee “Jim” (and Sharon) Busby Jr. of Beardstown; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker, home healthcare provider and a seamstress.

Services were held Sunday at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Reverend Deborah Lee officiating. Burial was in the Christian Neck Cemetery, north of Rushville.
