She was born Jan. 28, 1942, in Rushville, a daughter of Jake and Anna Margaret Read Robeson. She married William Dean Orr on July 2, 1990, in New Orleans, La. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, David (and Jan) Savage of Springfield, Mo.; three daughters, Beth Hood (and companion Donald Bolton) of Vermont, Kris (and Randy) Palmer of Industry and Cam (and Rick) Fowler of Littleton; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Snoop Fredreca Robeson.
She worked for Amax Coal Company for 10 years and at NTN Bower in Macomb for 10 years, before retiring.
Private family services will be held Thursday with Rev. Ronald Graham officiating. Burial will be held in the Rushville City Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation but friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at the Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville.
