Ralph Orrill

Ralph E. Orrill, 67, of Frederick died at 4:07 a.m. Sept. 13, 2011, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

He was born Dec. 11, 1943, in Pittsfield, a son of Carlton and Mary Smith Orrill. He married Dorothy Chestnut in Griggsville on Dec. 11, 1991. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Stephanie Orrill of Rushville; one sister, Barb (and Richard) Lear of Perry; two brothers, Gene (and Judy) Orrill of Griggsville and Mike (and Carol) Chestnut of Frederick; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Orrill; one son, Ralph Edward Orrill; and one sister, Peggy Dejanes.

He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran.

He worked for Excel before retirement.

He was a member of VFW.

Services were held Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville. Burial followed in Messerer Cemetery.
