She was born Sept. 30, 1919, in Dallas City, a daughter of Earl L. and Helen Prather Foster. She married Gaylord D. Smith in 1941. He died January of 1973. She later married Clyde C. Ogden on July 6, 1974, in Creve Coeur. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Jerry L. (and Viola) Smith of Port Richey, Fla.; three stepchildren, Marjorie K. (and Tom) Pearson of Galesburg, David C. (and Connie) Ogden of Pacific Junction, Iowa, and Deanna J. Anderson of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Vera Brock of Augusta; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
She was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. She had battled with cancer of the lungs and breast for eight years.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown, followed by a graveside service at noon at Vermont Cemetery with Rev. Kathy Barrett officiating.
