Simon E. Oehler, 95, died late Monday evening in Culbertson Hospital in Rushville. He had been an Astoria area resident for the past thirty years.
He was born March 23, 1874, in Illinois, a son of Ulrich and Katherine Hultzin Oehler. In 1924 he was married to Jane E. Tregellas. She died on March 18, 1955.
Mr. Oehler was a member of Astoria Lodge No. 100, AF & AM, and of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria.
