He was born Feb. 16, 1955, in Peoria, a son of Alfred and Wanda Baker Neuendorf. He married Cynthia Belville on Oct. 4, 1974, in Lewistown. She died Jan. 7, 2022.
He also was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are two children, Amy (and John) Brandsen of Audubon, Iowa, and Seth (and Kimberly) Neuendorf of Delavan; four brothers, Tim (and Debbie) of Delavan, David of Hartsburg, Ted (and Shar) of Lewistown and Rodney (and Tracy) of Cuba; and four grandchildren.
He worked for Freeman United Coal Mining Company for many years and lastly retired from the Local #649 Operating Engineers Union Hall. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Pekin.
He and his wife’s funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. The funeral will be livestreamed on the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page. Burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
