She was born Feb. 19, 1921, in Mason City, a daughter of Ira and Maude Brockman Jones. She married Donald H. Nehmelman in 1940. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1986.
She also was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Surviving are six children, Janet (and Dale) Perry of Bloomington, Teddy (and Patty) Nehmelman of Ruby Valley, Nev., Suzan (and Bill) Jindra of Fayetteville, Ga., Beverly (and Dennis) Wickert of Springfield, Dan Nehmelman of Hamilton and Jack (and Robin) Nehmelman of Las Vegas, Nev.; two adopted sons, Don Beekman and Genie Walker; one brother, John (and Edna) Jones of Mason City; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was of the Baptist faith. She worked as a nurses aid for 18 years.
A funeral service was held Tuesday at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City. Burial was in Mason City Cemetery.
