Margaret NeeleyMargaret Virginia "Aunt Bob" Neeley, 96, of Littleton died July 14, 2012, at her home.

She was born May 28, 1916, in Brooklyn, a daughter of William T. and Nola B. Lantz Lewis. She married John T. Neeley on June 2, 1950, in Peoria. He passed away on Sept. 2, 2000.

Surviving are one brother, William Lewis of Springfield; and seven nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Weinberg; one brother, Thomas Lewis; and two nephews.

She graduated from Brooklyn and Augusta high schools. She received a bachelors degree from Western Illinois Teacher's College. She attended University of Northern Iowa and received a masters degree from University of Colorado.

She taught physical education and English for 35 years at Farmington High School, Vermont High School and Industry High School. She also worked alongside her husband on the farm.

She was a member of Littleton United Methodist Church, Schuyler Republican Women's Club and past worthy matron of Rushville Eastern Star.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial will follow in Littleton Cemetery. Family will meet with friends from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services.

Memorials may be made to Littleton United Methodist Church or Littleton Cemetery Association.
