James Norris

James Dean Norris, 49, of Peoria died at 11:22 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2006, at Harrison County, Mo.

He was born Feb. 1, 1957, in Macomb, a son of Dean A. and Sarah Louise Switzer Norris.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Cindy Pippenger.

Surviving are his mother of Marietta; two sons, Rusty (and Carla) and Whitney, both of Canton; two brothers, Michael (and Dawn) of Phoenix, Ariz., and Andy (and Lori) of Havana; and two grandchildren.

He was an Army veteran, serving from 1974 to 1975.

He was a truck driver for National Freight Inc. He previously worked as a farmer for Wendell Willison in Ipava.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Lew Belville officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery in McDonough County.
