Virginia L. “Jennie” Noel, 59, of Astoria Health Care Center, died at 5:25 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born Sept. 22, 1937, at Nyata, Ala., a daughter of Walter and Mary Logan.
She is survived by two sons, Richard and David Burnham, both of Macomb; two sisters, Wilma Jean Bowden of Montgomery, Ala., and Brenda Sue Holmes of Cullman, Ala.; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at the Rushville City Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Derry officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at the Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville.
Memorials may be given to the Astoria Assembly of God Church.
