Sarah I. Nitzschke, 74, of North Manchester, Ind., died at 7:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 1996, at her home.
She was born Oct. 31, 1921, in Table Grove, a daughter of William English and Chlora Hamm. She married Howard E. Nitzschke on June 5, 1943. He preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1978. Her parents, one daughter and two brothers also preceded her in death.
She is survived by three grandchildren.
Mrs. Nitzschke was retired from United Tech in North Manchester after 18 years of service. She attended the Church of God in Wabash, Ind.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Table Grove Community Church with Rev. Howard Self officiating. Burial was in the Harris Cemetery in Table Grove.
DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary in North Manchester was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Church of God in Wabash, Ind., or the Christian Fellowship Church in North Manchester.
