Letha M. Nichols, 83, formerly of Astoria, died Thursday, June 15, 1995. She had resided with her daughter in Richmond, Va.
She was born April 29, 1912 in Missouri, the daughter of John and Rosa Tucker Plank. She married Calvin A. Nichols. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Ann Snodgrass of Glen Allen, Va.; two brothers, Raymond Plank of Moberly, Mo., and Homer Plank of Mendon; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a twin brother, Leland Plank.
Funeral services were held Sunday in Providence Baptist Church, Va. with burial in the church cemetery.
Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Homes, Richmond, Va., was in charge of arrangements.
