Everett Noe Of Lewistown Dies

Everett G. Noe, 68, of Lewistown, died at 8:52 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, 1990 in the emergency room of Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born May 21, 1921, in Lewistown, a son of Eddie and Hazel B. Bennett Noe. He married Rose Wilson on Oct. 24, 1952, in Vermont. She survives.

Also surviving are one stepson, Robert Seward of Havana; one half brother, Wayne Noe of Canton; three step-granddaughters; two step-great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

He worked in the shipping department at Caterpillar Inc., retiring in 1977. Last week he was awarded a certificate by the Lewistown Veterans of Foreign Wards Post 5001 for his longtime display of the American Flag at his home. He attended Lewistown Baptist Church and Lewistown Free Methodist Church. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Rev. Maurice Gritton officiating. Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
