Opal MartinOpal Martin, 93, of Littleton died at 8:25 a.m. Sept. 9, 2022, at Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born May 29, 1929, in Monmouth, a daughter of George and Clara Barnes Logsdon.

Surviving are one daughter, Tracy Allen (and Chris Parr) of Rushville, two sons, Ronnie Martin (and Penny) of Muncy, Pa., and Tom (and Nena) Martin of Industry; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Powell; one infant son, Gerald Martin; one great-grandson, Huck Legend Martin Merrick; and siblings, Garney Keeney, Samuel Mettler, Edward Mettler, John Logsdon, Jerry “Butch” Logsdon, Myrtle Mettler, Bonita Thomas, Patricia Tabb, Minnie Totten-Sornberger, Lela Agan and Georgia Groves.

She was a member of Littleton First United Methodist Church and Eastern Star.

She sold Avon for several years, cleaned houses and was a cook at several places.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Pastor Jason Triplett officiating. Burial will follow in Gray Cemetery near Camden. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.
