Brett MillerBrett Alan Miller, 58, of Satanta, Kansas, died Oct. 8, 2021, in Satanta.

He was born March 9, 1963, in Peoria, the son of Larry and Bonnie Siegfried Miller.

Surviving are his wife, Lynn (Simmons) Miller of Satanta; his father and stepmother, Larry and Peggy Miller of Peoria; mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Dale Baughman of Kismet; three children, Austin (and Taylor) Miller of Germantown Hills, Brittney (and Mark) Tomic of Wheeling and Tiffany Hutton (and David Barr) of Pekin; two sisters, Shelly (and Mike) Kirby of Kismet and Amy (and Dusty) Turner of Edmund, Okla.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He worked as an insurance adjuster for over 20 years in central Illinois, mostly adjusting for Lewistown Mutual in Lewistown. He moved to Kansas three years ago to pursue his dream of being a cowboy. He was currently employed by Deseret Cattle Feeders of Satanta.

A memorial service was held at Pleasant Prairie Church of God in Satanta on Tuesday, Oct. 12, with Mr. Randy Fisher officiating. Cremation has been accorded. Swaim Funeral Chapel in Sublette, Kan., was in charge of arrangements.
