She was born Sept. 19, 1932, in Phelps, Ky., a daughter of Lawson Margie Hall Hatfield. She married Edward Morgan on June 20, 1966, in Chicago. He preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 2003.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Steve Hatfield; and five siblings, Vigil, Alice, Ida, Faye and Kermit.
Surviving are three sons, Rick (and Debbie) Hatfield of Pomeroy, Ohio, James Johnson of Camden and Jeffrey (and companion Nicole) Johnson of Chicago; five grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
Services were held Monday at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Reverend Stacy Tomich officiating. Burial was in the Rushville City Cemetery.
