She was born Sept. 20, 1956, in Peoria, the daughter of Mary Lowery Bowen. She married Gregory Moreland on Oct. 30, 1986, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Matthew (and Nikki) Bowen of Pittsfield; one daughter, Amanda Moreland of Ipava; two stepdaughters, Melissa Moreland of Hurst, Texas, and Stephanie Anderson of Lafayette, Ind.; three grandchildren; and five step grandchildren.
When she was younger she was a cook in many restaurants and raised domesticated song and house birds. She was a devout Christian.
Funeral services were held Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. David Ball officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
