Alvin Miller Jr.Alvin Tracy Miller Jr., 75, of Browning died July 23, 2019, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

He was born April 19, 1944, in Macomb, a son of Alvin Tracy Sr. and Annie Emmeline Kelly Miller. He married Arlene Hayes on Dec. 16, 1972, in Town of Pines, Ind. She survives.

Also surviving are seven children, Michelle (and Leon) Woods and Tracy (and Chris) Goodsell, both of Jacksonville, William (and Ronda) Miller of Beardstown, Michael Miller of Chandlerville, Anita (and Johnny) Barnes of Golden, Denise (and Alan) Perry of Astoria and Alvin Tracy Miller III of Browning; five siblings, Ramona Steinkruger of Macomb, twin-sister, Mary Ann Miller of Rankin, Phyllis Snedigar of Mason City, Robert Miller of Springfield and Fannie Showman of Kansas City, Mo.; 27 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Vietnam War.

A graveside service was held Friday at the Browning Cemetery. Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown was in charge of arrangements.
