Edward H. McDivitt, 79, of Astoria died at 8:54 p.m. March 17, 2019, at Havana Health Care Center.
He was born Dec. 13, 1939, in Hamilton, Ohio, a son of Russel and Mary Hawes McDivitt. He married Karen Deppermann on May 1, 1993, in Astoria. She survives.
Also surviving are six children; and one brother, Russel McDivitt.
He was a truck driver for North American Comtras and Creek Carriers.
He was a graduate of Dixon High School. He was a member of Woodland Church of the Brethren.
Cremation rites have been accorded. No services at this time. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
