She was born April 30, 1944, in Rockford, the daughter of Ralph and Evalyn Roland Pratt. She married Ralph Matheny on June 14, 1980, in Astoria. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Diana (and Leon Lee) Ludtke of Grant, Neb., Erica (and Andy) Kassel of Columbia, Mo., and Kim (and Chad) Bent of Astoria; one son, David (and Christel) Matheny and daughter of Bradfordton; one brother, Art (and Tammy) Pratt of Byron; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph A. Pratt Jr.
She was an insurance broker for France Insurance Agency in Astoria.
She was a member of Ipava Order of the Eastern Star #226 where she was a past Worthy Matron and Lecturer.
Services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Gary Sheets and the Ipava Order of the Eastern Star #226 officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the memorial home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
