Larry Moses

Larry Wayne Moses, 76, of Rushville died at 4:23 p.m. Dec. 28, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

He was born April 25, 1938, in Summum, the son of Gerald R. and Lenabelle Smith Moses. He married Elizabeth Trone on Sept. 2, 1961, in Rushville. She preceded him in death on Aug. 24, 1995.

He also was preceded in death by one stepson, Bobbie Gene “Bob” Miller.

Surviving are one sister, Sharon Farwell of Lewistown; and five step grandchildren.

He worked construction for Illinois Valley Paving until retiring in 1995.

He was a member of Central Laborers #253 of Jacksonville.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial will be in Christian Neck Cemetery with Military Services by a U.S. Army Honor Detail and Schuyler American Legion Post #4. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
