She was born Nov. 24, 1925, in Macomb, a daughter of James and Gertrude Ellis Jones. She married Rex M. McCormick on March 8, 1948, in Bushnell. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1989.
Surviving are one sister, Dorothy Wolf of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one daughter, Judy (and Bob) Potter of Monmouth; one son, David McCormick of Rushville; one grandchild; and three step grandchildren.
She was a stay at home mother and delivered mobile meals.
She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society.
A funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at her church in Rushville with Father Anthony N. Bernas officiating. Burial will follow in Vermont Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services on Friday. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
