Wilson Miller

Wilson E. Miller, 101, of Lewistown died at 6:12 p.m. Sept. 28, 2012, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born March 20, 1911, in rural Lewistown, a son of Hancil P. and Minnie Wilson Miller. He married Laura E. Post on Dec. 28, 1935, in Palmyra, Mo. She preceded him in death on Feb. 17, 1993.

He also was preceded in death by one brother, Dallas Miller; and one sister, Florence Westerfield.

Surviving are three sons, Hancil (and Wilma) Miller, Larry (and Faye) Miller and Arlan (and Donna) Miller, all of Lewistown; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several step grandchildren, great-step-grandchildren and great-great-step-grandchildren.

He attended Bradley University, and was a lifetime farmer.

He was a member of Fulton County Farm Bureau, Odd Fellows Lodge and served on LCHS Board for years.

Services were held Tuesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Kathy Barrett officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
